Famitsu Weekly has just let slip a tidbit of information regarding a Namco Bandai title, Gundam Extreme Vs, which will be in playable form at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. The game is a PS3 title but there is also an arcade version of the game which will be at TGS as well for use in a tournament. The magazine managed to score an interview with the director of the arcade game, Tetsuya Akatsuka, and the producer, Yoshitaka Goto. They mention that all the content that’s in the arcade version will also be crammed into the PS3 version which will include all the content up until the latest build of the arcade game. They’re really pushing for a lag free experience and are looking at adding the ability to let gamers create their own rooms, add their friends to it and create their own rules. Also being added is a mode where you can practice your moves at home, get them perfect and then use them in the arcade version.
The game itself isn’t finished as yet and stands at 70% complete, the developers are looking for a December 1 release.
