Japan Weekly Sales Charts – Pokemon Dominates

Hardware Japan

No surprises on the charts this week considering that Pokemon Black & White 2 was released this week in Japan and yes, it’s taken the charts by storm.

In fact this one game managed to outsell all the games in the Top 20 combined which is an amazing feat.

The 3DS continues to dominate with well over 60K units shifted this week while even the PS Vita managed to pip the ageing PSP. Vita sales have slumped from the high of 34K plus units last week due to the release of Persona 4, but we’ll see next week if it can maintain that momentum or if things return to normal.
