Can you believe the Nintendo Switch is two years old already?
Releasing after the relative failure of the Wii U, the Switch launched to much fanfare and a strong advertising campaign behind it. Granted the TV features were all very rushed and weren’t allowing much time from debut to the actual launch of the hybrid console. However, any fears that the gaming public had were quickly put aside with some very glitzy launch parties and a very strong launch title with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
And who can remember seeing the TV spot below for the first time and being in total awe that somehow Nintendo had managed to innovate the industry yet again:
It’s safe to now that with an incredibly strong library and stellar sales around the world, Nintendo have proven yet again that they’re going to be around for a long time to come.
