Sony wrapped up their press conference recently at Gamescom in Germany and one of the more exciting reveals was the news that Assassin’s Creed will indeed be making an appearance on the upcoming PS Vita handheld. It won’t be a port of an existing title but a brand new game with new, unseen characters not seen before. Sony also added that this title will make heavy use of the Vita’s unique features such as the touch screen and motion controls. As well, the back touchpad will also be implemented into the gameplay making for some possibly original and intuitive ways to control your on screen character.
So a new game for this popular franchise without an existing main character to carry it? No Ezio or Altair? How will it fare? We’ll find out in the near future …hopefully.
