The PS Vita has passed a milestone recently with news that one of its games has broken through the 100K sales barrier. Unsurprisingly, the honour belongs to a game that has consistently been at the top of the Vita charts since launch, Hot Shots Golf 6.
Publisher ASCII Media Works revealed through Dengeki Online, sales figures of the title shipping in excess of 107,000 units but there’s still a long ways to go for the portable version. Its PS2 and PS3 counterparts all sold over a million units with the first in the series selling a staggering 1.7 million copies.
Another surprising piece of info is that according to Media Create’s sales figures, the retail version of Wipeout 2048 for the Vita didn’t make it into the top 50.
