Shibuya World Game Project

Shibuya World Game Project

Sony recently thew their muscle behind an event held in Shibuya, Japan yesterday. Called the World Game Project Festival, it was the second time this has been run by Sony and by all accounts was a success with people queuing up to play both Journey and Lord of the Rings.

The event is held to attract interest to Japanese developers to try some game titles that are being developed in the West. There was a quite a bit of game power with Sony picking out the aforementioned Journey and Lord of the Rings: War in the North but there was also SSX, Dragon Age II, Starhawk, FIFA Street, PixelJunk 4AM and Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.

The Vita had some presence as well with FIFA World Class Soccer, Lumines Electronic Symphony and Rayman Origins in attendance to give a bash.
