7-Eleven To Start Selling 3DS Download Cards

Nintendo have just announced in Japan that gamers will be able to stroll into their local 7-Eleven store very soon and be able to pick up a card with a download code for either New Super Mario Bros. 2 or Demon Training.

7-Eleven will start to carry the cards from July 28 across the Land of the Rising Sun and will carry the same price as buying a physical copy of the game which is ¥4,480 for NSMB 2 and ¥3,580 for Demon Training.

The cards themselves are pretty cool looking and would make for a great collectible, if you’re so inclined.

So basically, you buy the card, enter the code on the eShop and voila, said game starts downloading which begs me to ask the question.

What’s your preference gamers, do you prefer to buy the physical copy of the game or just have a digital copy?

I know some people like collecting the games like having a library on their shelves while others compromise portability and like to have more than one game with them. So where do you stand? Comments below, I’d love to hear them!
