Well know maker of all things Nendoroid, Good Smile Company, have started taking pre-orders for the adorable Nendoroid based on Mirai Suenaga, lovable mascot of wildy popular Japanese pop culture blogger, Danny Choo. Danny Choo, for those in the dark, resides in Japan and blogs about Japanese pop culture, bringing Otaku culture to the rest of the world.
He is also invited to speak at various conferences around the globe inspiring like minded people with his talks and also with his Culture Japan show. If you don’t live in a part of the world that broadcasts Culture Japan, you can also catch it on Crunchyroll with an anime subscription, completely worth your money, it’s a great show.
So Mirai Chan is one of Danny’s mascots who features on Culture Japan and also on his teach yourself Japanese Moekana cards. Mirai also features as the main character on Mirai Millenium. She will be shipping with various facial expressions with her standard expression being designed by Nao Shirahane. The other facial expressions that you can interchange feature on the illustrations found on the aforementioned Moekana cards which has been brought to life by Ikkyuu.
As with most Nendoroids, she comes with accessories, easily some of the coolest we’ve seen packaged yet. First off, there’s a Japanese flag she can clasp, her pal Retrokyu, a Moekana card (Nendoroid sized) and a beyond cute Itasha car which shows off the artwork by Tasuku Iizuki on the bonnet.
