Kyary Wins Music Jacket Award

The awards and plaudits keep coming in for Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, picking up a new award recently. The Music Jacket Award 2012 was held yesterday where they announced their winners for the best cd cover. The eventual grand prize was awarded to Kyary Pamyu Pamyu for “Moshi Moshi Harajuku”, her debut mini album released back in April 2011.

The runner up award went to Perfume’s, Spice, their 14th single and the 1st album from Man With A Mission, both picking up equal second prize.

The awards are presented to music cd’s from foreign artists as well as long as the cd was produced in Japan between April 1st 2011 – March 31 2012. This year there were 50 different artists in the running so fantastic effort from Kyary taking the top prize!
