Japan Weekly Sales Charts

Japan Weekly Sales Charts

Time for another update to see what’s been selling in Japan for both software and hardware! Animal Crossing: New Leaf for the 3DS took out the first place ahead of Call of Duty: Black Ops II for the PS3 which is surprising. Just goes to show that more people are into the simulation genre than the hardcore FPS genre in Japan.

The 3DS still sits pretty o top of the hardware charts selling an impressive 162,077 units while in second place the PS3 sold 34,167 units. That is a huge difference considering that CoD was in second place on the software charts. Meanwhile the woes continue for the PS Vita with sales dipping below 10k again with 9,712 units sold.
