Japanese Voice Actor Survives Anaphylaxis

A Japanese voice actor has been lucky to survive a nasty anaphylaxis scare which saw him hospitalised. Morita Masakazu, who does the voices for many characters in anime has since been released and he has tweeted that he returned to work on the 12th.


Morita san does the voices of Kurosaki Ichigo (Bleach), Barnaby Brooks Jr. (TIGER& BUNNY) and Maeda Keiji (Sengoku BASARA), just to name a few.

Anaphylaxis is a serious allergic reaction that is rapid in onset and may cause death. It typically causes a number of symptoms including an itchy rash, throat swelling, and low blood pressure. Common causes include insect bites/stings, foods, and medications. *Wikipedia*
