If you liked Power Rangers and/or Kamen Rider but were after something a little more mature, then tokusatsu TV series, Golden Knight Garo, might be more up your alley. It returns to Japanese screens sometime this April with the title, Garo: The One Who Shines in the Darkness. But in July the series makes the trip to Japanese cinemas with Garo Gaiden: Tougen no Fue (Garo Side Story: The Whistle of the Phantom Peach).
For the silver screen version, Yasue Sato, Mary Matsuyama, Masahiro Kuranuki, and Kanji Tsuda all return in their regular roles as Makai Priestess Jabi, Makai Priestess Rekka, Makai Priest Shiguto, and Makai Knight Kengi.
Here’s a couple of trailers so you can see what’s going on.
