2 games announced for the PS Vita

If you own a PS Vita, great day today with the announcement of 2 new games being developed for it. First up we have Golden Times: Vivid Memories being worked on by ASCII Media Works. Based on the light novel work from author, Yuyuko Takemiya, she will also be supervising the development of the game. The game will closely follow the plot of the light novel which revolves around campus life with an adventure focus.

Two editions will be available at retail, the standard edition for ¥6,279 and the limited edition will also ship with a 1/8 figure of Kaga Koko, the main heroine. A fan book will be released and retail for ¥10,479. Selected pre-order retailers will also be handing out a clear file. Those stores are Akihabara Gamers, Animate Akihabara, Sofmap Amusement, Sofmap’s main building, and Medialand. To give you a better idea on this game, check out the trailer below.

Next up we have a game based on an extremely popular anime, Sword Art Online. The Namco Bandai game will carry the title, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment. The game is being scheduled for release next year and will revolve around “Hollow Area” from the show in Aincrad. The game will feature lead protagonist, Kirito, who will come across a girl with a mysterious past with a unique sword and is also a key player.
