One of the coolest capsule hotels to close in Japan

Capsule hotels are completely synonymous with Japan. Those tiny sleeping quarters resembling a futuristic coffin which served many a salaryman can be found dotted across Japan. There are differences in each hotel but undoubtedly one of the coolest and more distinctive one is Nine Hours situated in Kyoto. So it’s with sadness that we hear news of its impending closure. Surprisingly, there wasn’t a reason given for the closure which will be happening on October 31st. If you want to get in before it closes, best you be quick as they are taking bookings but on a good day you can squeeze in without prior notice.
