Hayao Miyazaki Figure Helps Out For Tsunami Relief

Repairs are still underway to repair the devastation caused by the March 11 tsunami in Japan back in 2011. Now the restoration of Karakuwa in Kesennuma City will be receiving much needed assistance from a Japanese legend.

Bigshot Toyworks have teamed up with Martin Hsu to create some figure statues based on Studio Ghibli legend, Hayao Miyazaki. The figures weigh in at 6″ tall and the sales from these figures will be generously donated to the “Karakuwa-Maru” organization. They are limited with a production run of 300and carry a price tag of $US95. If you want to snag yourself one, then best you head over to the Tenacious Toys website and place an order. The pre-orders just opened today.
