Sony Says Goodbye To The PSP

The PSP has been a huge success for Sony in Japan since launching back in 2004 but the end has finally come. Sony has announced that come June, they’ll stop the shipping line for the Playstation Portable. There is a promotion to entice PSP owners to the Vita with a trade-in going on. ¥3000 will be given to PSP-3000 owners while PSP-2000 and PSP Go owners will be handed ¥2000 as a credit to go towards their new Vita.

The promo will be run between 3rd of June to August 29th while the credit vouchers you receive will need to be redeemed by October 31st.
