Time for another look at Japanese gaming with Gaming Life in Japan!
Just for a change, there weren’t too many new releases the past week when compared to the previous week. But it’s enough to see Freedom Wars on the PS Vita hold onto the coveted number one spot.
Yokai Watch for the 3DS took out second position while Taiko Drum Master: Don and Katsu’s Space-Time Great Adventure also for the 3DS took third spot. Mario Kart 8 is still a crowd favourite in fourth place while spots five and six sees a Watch Dogs double with the PS4 and PS3 respectively taking their spots. Looking at the other end of the scale, we have a surprise entry with Grand Theft Auto V Low Price Version for the PS3 at number ten.
Checking out hardware, we see no real surprise with the unstoppable Nintendo 3DS LL holding strong in first place while the PS Vita enjoys healthy sales of over 18K units sold. The Wii U sees some attention as well with enough units sold to enjoy fourth place. The Playstation family makes another appearance with the PS4 and PS3 in fourth and fifth places respectively.
