Last year the 7th March saw the event Hatsune Miku Symphony 2017 which involved vocaloid songs blended with classical instruments via the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. And now coming up to the year anniversary of the event, there’s a special home release to mark the event.
March 7th 2018 will see Hatsune Miku Symphony 2017 released on Blu Ray, 2 DVD and 2CD pack.
Warner Bros. Japan have just released a clip of the Hatsune Mike track, “Sakura no Ame”, as performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
The orchestral event was also held to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Hatsune Miku. There’s also going to be another event at the Pacifico Yokohama on 24th November 2018 so if you’re in Japan during that time, see if you can get tickets to see a great show.
