In case you missed the Pokémon Direct broadcast this morning, it was on very early, you can catch the replay below.
Two new Pokémon games are Switch bound in the later half of 2019, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. We saw that the game is set in the Galar Region and more importantly, we got our first looks at the three new starters.
The Galar Region looks absolutely beautiful with strong English influences scattered throughout from what they showed. Not too sure how I feel about the new starters. They don’t have the same iconic feel or look that past ones have had although they are still very cute and distinct.
No release date given for either title in the Direct apart from a teasing “late 2019”.
