A little while ago (2015) there was an Evangelion shinkansen doing the rounds in Japan but now we hear that there’s a train coming styled after the Evangelion Unit-01 unit.
The new train will do doing the rounds between Chubu Centrair International Airport in Aichi Prefecture and Meitetsu Gifu Station in Gifu.
This service ends on March 9, 2020 and if you’re lucky enough to be in town, you can also catch a gold statue at the Chubu Centrair International Airport as seen below.
This promotion is all part of the upcoming release for Evangelion:3.0+1.0.
