Unless you’ve been living under a rock for a while, you’d have heard, watched or know of the series, Love Live! Fans of the series can now get even more excited with the news of the upcoming rhythm based game, Love Live! School Idol Festival ~after school ACTIVITY~, which is bound for the arcades in Japan. To build hype for the launch, Bushiroad and Square Enix have released the 30 second trailer below.
The mobile version of the game already has 14 million registered users in its home territory and 20 million across the globe. And no…no release date for the game as yet. Bummer.
We briefly mentioned the arcade game of hugely popular series, Attack On Titan, making an appearance at a recent trade show but we’ve only seen recently is the amazing control system the game features. In a show of making you feel really immersed in the game, the controller is in a fact a dual controller system not unlike the 3D Manoeuvre Gear that’s featured in the series.
Very amazing and extremely innovative control method!
I just love that everyone playing the game is in cosplay!
Sometimes it’s easy to forget that there are other fighting games outside of Streetfighter and Mortal Kombat. The Tekken series has always been a huge favourite of mine so I was besides myself when I came across this new trailer for Tekken 7: Fated Retribution which will be hitting the arcades in Japan this coming Summer.
It’s a long trailer but it shows some pretty cool gameplay and also what gameplay you can expect from this new title. But seriously…how good does this game look?
While the rest of us Attack on Titan fans eagerly await for a game on the Playstation (coming soon), Capcom isn’t content to rest on its laurel. No sir, they’ve been hard at work on an Attack on Titan arcade game which is gearing up to be shown off soon.
The game will be making it’s debut at Japan Amusement Expo 2016 which will run from February 19 – 20. The game itself features 4 player co-op to take down the titans or if you so desire, you can also play the adventure solo. The official release for the game in the arcades looks set to go down sometime in Winter 2016 for Japan.
Attack on Titan is such a massively popular series, from the manga through to the anime, 3DS game and loads of merchandise. Capcom have recently announced that they’re the AoT series will be branching off into the world of arcades.
We know that the game will be launching in Japan during Summer and that during the announcement trailer, they showed the phrase “Sacrifice Your Heart.” Hopefully we’ll have more details as they come to light.
Great news for fans of the fighting arcade game in Japan, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax with the adding of some new characters to the mix.
The couple of new fighters are Miyuki Shiba from The Irregular At Magic High School and Taiga Aisaka from Toradora! Their male equivalents, Tatsuya Shiba and Ryūji Takasu, will both be in the game as assist characters. This game is all in part to the 20th anniversary of the Dengeki light novel imprint. As an added bonus touch, the original voice actor’s from the anime will be lending their vocal talents.
Unfortunately, as yet there are no news regarding a home release for this amazing game but fingers crossed, it’ll happen.
