TGS saw the release of a new trailer for New Atelier Rorona: The Origin Story of the Alchemist of Arland from developer Gust. The clip sees the transformation from the old chibi model to a new fresh model of main character, Rorolina Frixell. The game will be hitting Japan on November 21 for both the PS3 and PS Vita in Japan. So far though, no Western release has been mentioned.
2009 saw Atelier Rorona hitting the PS3 but now its had some upgrades done and some tweaking done under the hood with the news that New Atelier Rorona will be re-released.
Japanese publication, Dengeki Playstation, has shown that the title will be coming to both the PS3 and the PS Vita. The new version will contain a heap of new and fresh content from brand new and beefed visuals, new extended time system, bonus costumes, the introduction of new events plus loads more features.
Players who own both the PS3 and Vita will be pleased to hear that the game will have the cross-save feature built in meaning you can play on the home console before transferring your save game to the Vita to continue the adventure on the go. The PS3 will also see a limited edition which will ship with a crystal paperweight and a sticker for you controller. The limited edition for the Vita will see a decal for the handheld along with a smaller version of the crystal paperweight.
New Atelier Rorona will release later this year in November.
