The blogger with the amazing visual skills, darwinfish, is at it again. This time he’s applied his awesome time lapse photography skills to the port city of Yokohama. He’s gone to the 3rd tallest building in town, set up his camera and watches the magic unfurl.
For the info buffs, the 3rd tallest building is the Yokohama Landmark Tower while Yokohama itself is the 2nd largest city in Japan. Handy info just in case, you know, you need it one day.
Following the fairly severe snowstorms Japan has experiencing lately, videographer, darwinfish, has been out to the Odaiba Island precinct to see how the 1:1 scale model of the Gundam has been doing.
Filmed in his usual time lapse photography, the statue looks quite stunning and striking against the bleak backdrop of the pristine white snow.
We’ve previously posted some work from blogger, DarwinFish, before but this video is both awesome and amazing to watch. The busy shopping area of Shibuya is currently undergoing some work which involves the construction of a skyscraper, 230 metres high. The pedestrian plaza looks set to also receive a boost in size with the works estimated to be completed in 2027.
DarwinFish has created a time lapse video of some of the work occurring now which looks great and needs to be seen to be appreciated. All complimented by a cool chilled soundtrack, enjoy.
Japanese blogger, Darwinfish, has posted an awesome video to his blog recently. The video is a time lapse clip and features the Gundam statue in Odaiba as well as the many holiday crowds from Yurakucho, Marunouchi, Roppongi Hills, Omotesando, Tokyo Midtown.
