Fantasy Life Is Registered In The USA

Runaway success life simulator from Level-5, Fantasy Life, had its trademark registered outside of Japan in the US. This follows on the heels of the registration being made last month in Europe as well. This is all pointing to the game being localised for other territories outside of Japan.

Fantasy-Life

Level-5 have previously gone on record saying that they want to develop Fantasy Life into a new franchise. This should be a unique, niche title for the Nintendo 3DS that will garner a large following in the West.

The Best Selling Games – February, Japan

Japan Weekly Sales Charts

Time for yet another look into the sales for hardware and software from the Land of the Rising Sun. At this point though, are we really expecting to see anything different from the past year? Probably not but let’s take a look anyways!

The 3DS continues to stampede through anything in its path holding onto the top spot for hardware sales with Nintendo’s newly released next-gen console, the Wii U, holding onto 2nd place. Wii U sales did experience a slump down from the 122,356 units it sold last week however.

On the software front, Animal Crossing New Leaf continues to score for Nintendo taking out the top spot with 2nd place occupied by Fantasy Life, also for the 3DS. But, enough talk, let the charts below do all the talking.

55 Minutes Of Fantasy Life

The Nintendo 3DS exclusive title, Fantasy Life from Level-5 and Brownie Brown, was recently released in Japan and Nintendomination has managed to snag themselves the first 55 minutes of the game.

Fantasy Life is a Role Playing Game which allows you to choose how your in game character will be represented. This is done at the start of the game by choosing male or female, hairstyles, eye colour, hair colour, etc.

As with all the more cooler games from Japan, there is no word as yet whether this unique title will be released in the West. It’s a stunningly lush looking game, check out the trailer below.
