Hey everyone, just a quick update to let you all know that I’ll be introducing a new segment to the site very soon called Gamer Girls. It’ll be a little section on the sidebar where I highlight girls who like to game and for many reasons are also very cool and definitely worth checking out and following on social media. Apart from posting the pic on the site, I’ll also be doing a share with my Instagram which will have the links to their Instagram account as well.
Just to give you a taste, here’s a teaser of the first GG I’ll be posting up very soon for the new segment!

One of the amazing amazing quirky features of Japan would have to be the unique fashion sense. You see this replicated in popular culture in the West as well and in movies. One new fashion trend emerging now is a fusion between otaku elements from anime, manga, gaming plus more with the crazy cool fashion twist from Harajuku. The movement is gaining so much popularity that a store recently opened called Park Harajuku where you can nab some fashions for yourself.

Sega has collaborated with apparel label, “galaxxxy” to release a brand new range of accessories and clothes called, “Segakawaii”, where they have taken Sega’s well known products and given them an overhaul. The goods hit the streets of Japan a few days ago on April 25th aimed at the female Sega fan.

Back in 2012, Kadokawa Games released a Vita port of the well received title, Fate/Stay Night Realta Nua. Kadokawa recently made an announcement earlier this week that until April 10, you’ll be able to pick up the game at a reduced rate on the Japanese PSN.
Normally the game would set you back ¥5,250 but for now you can pick it up at the reduced price of ¥3,990. To give you an idea of what you’ll be in, check out the trailer below.
Hello Kitty’s parent company, Sanrio, has teamed up with Sega to produce one of the cutest collaborations ever seen. What you see below is the first fruit of their labour, Sonic Hello Kitty, cute no? There are actually a few of these planned between these two giants and this Sonic x Hello Kitty Super Jumbo Plushy will be available in late July.
The plushy will be available at Sega’s amusement facilities which can be found all across Japan and the reason for this in the first place is to commemorate the opening of Sega’s Tokyo Joyopolis facility on July 14.
Sega has also gone on record stating that this new temporary partnership will run worldwide starting in the Summer of 2013.
