Fans of tokusatsu action game Kamen Rider Battride War (me!) will be pleased to see this new trailer for the follow up to last years game. Kamen Rider: Battride War II, released by Namco Bandai, looks set to bring more action than the previous game. But don’t take out word for it, feast your eyes on the five minute trailer below.
The action unleashes across Japan on PS3 and Wii U on the 26th of June.
A brand spanking new trailer has recently hit the interwebs for the latest game to feature the Kamen Rider universe, Kamen Rider: Battride War II. This game is a follow-up sequel to the first title which showed upon the PS3 last year in Japan.
The new trailer is quite generous with loads of action, in game cinematics and more Riders than you can poke a stick at! The game touches down in Japan for the PS3 and Wii U on the 26th of June.
I was lucky enough to pick up the first Kamen Rider: Battride War game from Japan last year, I’m a huge Kamen Rider fan so it was a no brainer. So I was over the moon to hear that they’re bringing out a sequel with more tokusatsu shenanigans.
What’s even better than hearing news? How about seeing the below trailer?
The game releases across Japan on June 26 for the Wii U and the PS3. If you’re quick enough, you can also snap up the Premium TV & Movie Sound Edition available on the same day.
Apart from being an awesome train station, the Akihabara JR station is also host to the Bandai Showroom. It isn’t an overly large area but on a regular basis, the impressive figures in glass cases are rotated to make way for a new exhibition.
December 2013 saw the cases housing a display called the “Super Heroes/Mecha” edition. There were figures on display from from the Kamen Rider series, Mobile Suit Gundam and Super Sentai. The figures will be launching in Japan in May this year. There were some figures from a few other franchises as well.
The upcoming Kamen Rider game, Kamen Rider: Travelers Senki, has us all excited even though there’s no chance of this game ever seeing a release outside of Japan. Still, we can’t help but love the tokusatsu action and with the new extended trailer below, we can enjoy it that bit more.
The game looks great and very action packed with impressive visuals. Looks like this might be an import job for our Japanese 3DS unit.
Japandaman is unashamedly a fan of Tokusatsu action, the live action movies or TV shows where the actors dress up in costumes, much like Power Rangers. So it’s with much anticipation and excitement that I came across this new trailer. The trailer is showing off the new and upcoming Kamen Rider Wizard movie (deep breath), “Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Gaim & Wizard: The Fateful Sengoku MOVIE Battle”.
The trailer is jam packed full of the type of action this series is known for and crazy, over-the-top action. The plot revolves some time warping storyline which sees the Riders from the Heisei era take up arms and assist the current Rider, Kamen Rider Gaim. The film kicks off with much gusto on December 14.
Kamen Rider is a hugely popular franchise in Japan but the producers still feel that the show needs to be actively promoted and one way it does this is through the power of music. Specifically the girl ensemble, Kamen Rider Girls, who are a group of young ladies wearing henshin belts performing a bit of J-Rock around Tokyo. The new clip below is to promote their new upcoming live show and their new song.
The show will be happening on the 20th of October and it’s titled “K.R.G.S. ROCK and KICKS No. 2”, at ShibuyaWWW which makes it their 2nd live show and just like the new song suggests, it will be carrying a rock theme. Pics of the girls are below, each with a Rider.
Kamen Rider is a huge franchise in Japan and a popular TV show. There have been various different Kamen Rider shows from Kamen Rider Fourze through to Kamen Rider Wizard and loads more. Great news for tokusatsu fans with the announcement that a new series has been commissioned.
During the recent screening on television of Kamen Rider x Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen, there was a commercial for Kamen Rider Gaim, the new and upcoming series. This series will mark the 15th in the current Heisei era. Below, you’ll be able to catch a trailer of what waits for fans in the series.
Exiting at Akihabara JR station and heading to the East-West exit, you’ll be able to find the showroom which changes its items exhibited usually on a monthly basis. The showroom is organised by Bandai who normally put on display an impressive array of figures to make any collector envious.
During the month of April, the showroom consisted figures and toys from Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger, a parody show based on the tokusatsu series, Super Sentai. Other items from the Figuarts Zero lineup were Yayoi Kise and Cure Peace seen in Smile PreCure! from 2012/2013.
