Clearly not having enough to do at Nintendo with coming up with new awesome stuff for gamers, Shigeru Miyamoto will now be adding something new to his resume.
The Official Nintendo magazine is coming up to its 100th issue very soon and to mark the occasion, editing duties will be laying with Miyamoto san. The issue will be limited by featuring a special cover, as long as you’re a subscriber, and will also be coming with reviews on 2 eagerly awaited games. Pokemon X and Y as well as The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. Will Shigeru be adding something unique to the issue? That remains to be seen but keep an eye out for it when it hits newsstands on September 25.
Japanese publisher, Enterbrain, responsible for Famitsu Weekly, have announced that they’re going to be releasing a PS Vita exclusive magazine.
Famitsu PS Vita will be hitting news stands next month, June 14, and will retail for ¥880. The eponymous first issue will contain a booklet focusing on Persona 4 The Golden, which is released on the same day. There will also be a code for Ragnarok Odyssey which will nab you an exclusive item and a soft pouch to protect your PS Vita.
At present we don’t know if it will be a monthly edition like their other publications or a special one off.
Just scored my personal copy of the 500th issue of Dengeki Playstation with the awesome front cover featuring Final Fantasy characters. Looks amazing, can’t wait to give it a read! As usual, picked it up from Kanga Kanga in Melbourne. Thanks Taka San!! 🙂
Square Enix have launched a new online magazine which will detail their upcoming games. The first issue also features interviews with Naoki Yoshida, the producer of Final Fantasy XIV and Crystal Dynamics’ Karl Stewart. The issue will also have information on upcoming Final Fantasy XIII-2 as well as Deus Ex: Human Revolution plus there will also be information on their vast range of collectible figures. You can read the magazine online or download the PDF here. I prefer to download the PDF and transfer to PSP or iPhone for easy reading 🙂
