The bundle also carries the cool name of the “Fox Edition” which comes with a PS4 carrying the Fox emblem on the side, a Ground Zeroes logo next to it. The bundle wouldn’t be complete without a copy of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes thrown in.

The bundle and the game will be available in Japan on the 20th of March and will set back gamers ¥46, 980. For more info, you can keep your finger on the pulse with regular email updates via Sony Style Japan.

TGS ’13: Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes English opening

TGS is over for another year but the trickle of information still continues to leak out of Japan for a bit longer. This one  concerns Konami and their release of the opening cinematic for Metal Gear V: Ground Zeroes but with the English dub. It’s also an extended opening cinematic which has previously been available in Japanese so getting it in English is a nice touch.

TGS ’13: Metal Gear Solid V TGS trailer

Kojima Productions aren’t having a large presence at this year’s TGS but that doesn’t stop them from coming to the party with a new trailer featuring 12 minutes of gameplay for one of the most anticipated titles. That game being, Metal Gear Solid V, is running on the PS4 at TGS but if you can’t make it, that’s ok, we’ve brought the trailer to you. Check it below.

Sniper character “Quiet” from The Phantom Pain

Kojima Productions have taken the covers off a character to be included in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain who they say will be too erotic to cosplay. The female character is called Quiet and the 3D motion capture responsibilities fell on the shoulders of Dutch model Stefanie Joosten.

The request to make the character too erotic to cosplay came from Hideo Kojima via a Twitter post: I’ve been ordering to Yoji to make the character more erotic, and he did it well. Recently I’ve been making characters this way. Jay Boor, Konami’s Director of Public Relations, had the following to say, “Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain are two separate games. GZ will be a prologue to The Phantom Pain.” When he was pressed further about the platforms they’d be appearing on, he reaming tightlipped regarding Ground Zeroes. However he did reveal that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is “definitely 360 and PS3.”
