News for this Highly Anticipated Anime MMORPG Has Fans Excited

An article on http://www.thisisgame.com/, a Korean gaming journalism site, ran an article that reads:

“PC MMORPG; Peria Chronicles, is being developed by ThingSoft and will be released [in Korea] in December.”, also stating that more news is coming in Winter. The article also mentions that ThingSoft will be skipping G-STAR 2017 (the Korean equivalent to e3) this year and won’t be showing anything on Peria Chronicles at that time.

Us fans of the beautiful MMORPG aren’t sure whether this means we’ll be getting a closed beta, alpha or the full game, but we’re just happy that we’re finally able to get our hands on it after so many years since it’s announcement as Project NT, even if it is going to be in Korean.

Peria Chronicles boasts a beautiful WindWaker-esc art style and Pokemon-like & Arcade gameplay and is sure to be a hit with MMO fans everywhere.

New FFXIV video shows off party play

A new clip from Square Enix has been released showing the developer’s talking about the party play system that’s in place for the forthcoming MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Final Fantasy XIV will be released on PS3 and PC on August 27th while the PS4 release will be coming in 2014.

Final Fantasy XI Vana Fest 2012

Square Enix have announced they’re they;re going to be holding celebrations for the tenth anniversary of Final FantasyXI, yes…it’s been ten years already.

This particular FF game differed from the others in that it was a MMORPG or Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game.

The event called Final Fantasy XI Vana Fest 2012 is scheduled to take place between June 23 and 24. A specific time or place hasn’t been given yet but there is a promotional poster for the event.

All it says is that it will be held somewhere in Tokyo, hopefully more info as it draws near. Another thought is that maybe the event will be taking place over Tokyo, as in the whole of Tokyo, that’d be something.
