New screens have just been released for Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, courtesy of NIS America. The game will be coming to the West as both a physical and digital game which is nice for a change. The pics show off some of the translations efforts in the game and it’s looking great ahead of its release next month.
The game hits up the US and Europe on September 2 and 5 respectively.
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc was a successful release for the PS Vita based on the even more popular anime series. Fans of the first release will be pleased to hear that Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair has been dated for release on the 2nd of September.
NIS America will be handing the distribution and will carry a retail price of $39.99. Even better, the game will be shipping with both Japanese and English voice acting.
Here’s a breakdown of the game from the site page:
Danganronpa™ 2: Goodbye Despair, the sequel to the highly popular mystery adventure game Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc , will be making its way to the PlayStation®Vita in North America and Europe this fall in both retail and digital form. As in the first game, players will take on the role of a high school student as they are thrust into a life-or-death situation, and must use their wits and teamwork to survive. Each student was chosen for a special ability they possess, making them the “ultimate” example of something. Characters in this title are also designed by Rui Komatsuzaki for a unique and darker take on the anime style.
