Sailor Moon Crystal has only just launched in Japan and around the world via streaming service Crunchyroll and already the first wave of merchandise has hit the streets.
Coming straight from Bandai’s Premium online store is the “Sailor Soldier Tiara Ring” pre-order. There are five different styles and have been modelled after the five different tiaras as worn by the characters in the series. There are pink, blue, red, green, yellow colours with a Swarovski crystal decorating the piece. They’ll set you back ¥11, 340 and will start to being delivered sometime the middle of October.
Premium Bandai keep cranking out the Sailor Moon merchandise and this time, it’s taken a turn towards the adult market. This is all part of the 20th anniversary for Sailor Moon, who has teamed up with Peach John, a successful Japanese brand. There are 4 different sets available for pre-order now.
You can get a Sailor Moon Bra Set, Sailor Moon Panties, Sailor Moon Narikiri/Costume Bra Set and Sailor Moon Pajamas. The Nakiri set is pretty cool as it comes up with shorts and bra that have been designed from the 5 Sailor soldiers.Those being Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Mars, and Sailor Venus. If you take a pre-order, you can expect the goods to start delivering February,2014.
Another envy inspiring product is on the horizon from Premium Bandai which ties up with a well loved series. In commemoration of the new Sailor Moon anime (no news on that), they’ve released a new range of products called the “Pretty Guradian Sailor Moon DX My Hashi Collection.”
What makes up this collection are three sets of chopsticks which draw inspiration from various weapons seen in Sailor Moon, they are the Moon Stick (Sailor Moon), Cutie Moon Rod (Sailor Moon R), and Pink Moon Stick (Sailor Moon S). The Premium site has begun to take pre-orders for this ultra cool set which will set you back ¥1,575, they begin to ship them out in March 2014.
Another product that has the official Evangelion stamp has just been released for pre-order and has also been inspired by Asuka Shikinami Langley. The product are headphones in a lush red colour, which her outfit shares and have been approved by Bandai Premium that will also carry the two pins that Asuka carries on her cap in third Eva movie, Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo.
