Sega’s teaser reveals new Samurai and Dragons

We earlier reported on the teaser site from Sega that hinted at something coming in the near future. Well, the covers have been taken off and it’s actually an update to the PS Vita game, Samurai and Dragons. Specifically, this free to play game has a new trailer released which showcases the 2nd “season” of adventures that awaits gamers on November 1st. The latest instalment will be called Intense Samurai & Dragons.

No word as yet for a Western release but the clip below shows what we’re missing out on.

Hatsune Miku artist draws Dreamcast mascots

Crossovers in games are nothing new, especially when you’re talking about Samurai & Dragons which features more crossovers than you can poke a stick at. From Bayonetta, monsters from Soul Sacrifice and even Sonic the Hedgehog, there’s something in there for everyone.

Now, the artist behind Vocaloid Hatsune Miku, has lent his artistic skill to the game as well. Artist, Kei, has managed to convert the Sega Dreamcast and its memory card, the VMU, into mascot characters for the game, Hyperdimension Neptunia. During the Samurai & Dragons meeting scheduled for 2013, the UC Dreamcast, UC Visual Memory Unit and two more cards will be handed out.

The event is pencilled in fo June 2nd. To top it all off, 4 lucky attendees will also be walking away with a WI-Fi PS Vita model, the Deluxe pack of Samurai & Dragons and a case of 24 Red Bulls for the long gaming session that awaits you.

Bishoujo Girls For All of Sega’s 13 Consoles From Miku Designer

The artist known as Kei, responsible for the look of well known Vocaloid Hatsune Miku, has turned his considerable talent skill set to designing and illustrating something for retro console lovers.

Kei has illustrated a range of Segakko or Sega daughters for 13 of Sega’s past consoles, some known extremely well and some others relics of the past. It’s all for a new pack of digital card sets for a free to play PS Vita RPG, Samurai & Dragons. The game is a coming together of fantasy ideals from both the Western and Eastern worlds.

Let’s give a massive shout out to Japandaman’s favourite console of all time, the Sega Dreamcast!
