After working on editions and revisions to a couple of Summon Night titles on the Sony PSP, developer Felistella now turn their attention to the next instalment, Summon Night 5.
Namco Bandai has confirmed that they’re looking at a launch window of Spring 2013 for Japan. In the meantime, feast your eyes on the trailer below which shows a tease of the JRPG. Felistella, you’ll recall, have been busy at work on revised ports of both Summon Night 3 and Summon Night 4, both hitting the PSP October 4th & November 15th respectively.
Thanks to the previously reported firmware update for the PS Vita, it now has the ability to play classic PS One titles. And one of the first games to be announced is an absolute gem in Summon Night 2 and will retail on the PSN for only ¥300, bargain.
This is actually the second one in the series to be released as a PS One classic, with the first Summon Night already available to be downloaded. There are five games in the series so there’ll be a lot to keep fans of the series happy.
The ¥300 price point is only a promotion though with both Summon Night games increasing to ¥600 afterwards.
