That Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is one busy little Harajuku Princess. Not content with finishing her first world tour, she’s now launched into her second world tour, but even better, she’s coming to Australia this time around.
March 23rd will see Kyary come to Sydney’s Metro Theatre with tickets still completely sold out. It’s Japan, Man!’s very own resident kawaii princess, Katey, managed to score a ticket so we can’t wait to see what she thinks of it afterwards!
A few months ago, I blogged about a great opportunity for lovers of K-Pop to get up and close with some of the biggest idols in the K-Pop music scene. Those artists were BEAST, SHINee, 4Minute, Secret, CNBLUE, miss A, Girls Generation, DBSK, KARA and 2AM who will be gracing the shores of Sydney, Australia with a one off concert performance called the “2011 K-Pop Music Fest.”
I mentioned then that I would be updating with any news of ticket prices or anything else related to this performance. Well, the official site for the event has gone live. You can reach the site with a short jump here.
I’ll take the suspense out out of it and mention that the prices are going for $289(VIP Standing/Seating), $189(Gold), $139(Silver), $89(Bronze). So there are some options there for those with deep pockets and not so deep which is good to see. Check out the site anyways as there’s more to see and check out. Hopefully Japandaman Dailies will be attending, I’ll keep you posted!
Sick and tired of complaining we Otakus get nothing here in Australia and the rest of the world has TGS, E3, Comic-Con and all the other cool stuff under the sun? No? Just me then 🙁 Well come the end of the year, specifically November 12th, and Sydney will be inundated with the wonder of the Asian music world that is K-Pop with a massive first of its kind concert performance! There will be no less than 10 K-Pop artists and groups that have each won acclaim for their catchy tunes, infectious beats and adoring fans. You might be wondering which groups will be gracing our shores, check the list below!
BEAST, SHINee, 4Minute, Secret, CNBLUE, miss A, Girls Generation, DBSK, KARA and 2AM will be in attendance and you can bet that I’ll be shifting heaven and earth to try and get to this…this will be truly a once in a lifetime experience to witness this spectacle, for all we know it’ll never be repeated 🙁 All we can hope for now is a similar J-Pop concert with Ayumi Hamasaki, Utada Hikaru, Koda Kumi and my personal fave, AKB48. *drool*
For what to expect, check the Girls Generation clip below…most kawaii! And as soon as I have ticket prices, they’ll be posted right here.
