The highly anticipated crossover title, Hyrule Warriors, which sees the world of Zelda blend with the Dynasty Warriors universe has received a revision to the launch window for Japan.
Known as Zelda Musou in Japan, Tecmo Koei have announced that the game will be coming to the Wii U during Summer this year. Hopefully as the time draws near we’ll have more information with a definite launch date.
Famitsu magazine is running an article announcing an updated release of the hunting game, Toukiden. Its been reported that Tecmo Koei have filed a trademark for a game carrying the name, Toukiden Kyoku, which translates as Toukiden Extreme.
One of the features coming to the new release is an updated roster of demon to tackle. Koyomi is a new NPC who wields a fresh Naginata weapon. Something else coming is a new array of equipment such as armour, special moves and projectile weapons just to name a few. Toukiden Kyoku is also said to be twice as long as the first release which should provide a new challenge.
It’s currently still in progress with final touches still a ways off but Tecmo have said that it will be release during 2014. If you pick it up for the PSP, expect to pay ¥4, 800 while the PS Vita release will set you back ¥5, 800.
Marie Rose is the amazing goth loli fighter that made her debut on the arcade version of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate in Japan. We had heard that she was also coming to the home console version as well.
Tecmo Koei have released some news on this saying that an update will be pushed out in Japan via the PS3 and Xbox 360’s online services that will patch the game and bring this new fighter to the home in March.
No firm date on when exactly in March but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear anything.
The first trailer for the Playstation 4 release of Nobunaga’s Ambition: Creation was released by Tecmo Koei recently. The game will be released alongside the launch of the PS4 in Japan on February 22nd.
Some tech features we know of so far is that the game will run 60fps in stunning HD and will utilise the touchpad on the controller to scroll the on screen map. Want to see more? Check out the launch trailer below.
We’ve already seen more than a handful of pics from Marie Rose, the latest combatant in Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate. We know she’s partial to the Japanese Goth Loli fashion and also that she favours a Russian style of combat. But how does she actually look when she’s in action?

The recently announced introduction of Goth Loli character, Marie Rose, coming to home consoles for Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate was an awesome piece of news. Gamers in the West were left wondering if this was something else that was going to be uniquely available to Japan however, that looks set to change.

Although this game is a JP exclusive title, we haven’t forgotten about our overseas fighters in the West. We hope to provide you guys with more information in the near future. Dynasty Warriors is having a presence at TGS this year courtesy of Tecmo Koei in the form of new title, Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends. The trailer makes mention of the release date for Japan on the PS4 (February 22nd) however prior to that, it will also release on the PS3 and PS Vita on November 28. Have a look at the trailer below, it looks outstanding.
Great news for PS Vita gamers in the USA with the announcement that a few of Japan exclusive games, proven to be popular with Japanese gamers, will be coming to the West.
Courtesy of Tecmo Koei, both RPG Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland and Toukiden will be coming to the PS Vita. In Japan, Toukiden is also being released on PSP but they’re stick with the Vita version for the Western release. Meanwhile, Atelier Meruru Plus will have a few extras bundled in like new areas, costumes, bosses, extra scenes and loads more. Watch out for in the States on September 3rd.
Japan will soon see its two first 3rd party games to make a digital appearance for download on the Nintebdo 3DS eShop. That honour will go to Samurai Warriors: Chronicles 2nd and AKB48+Me. The games will be making their appearance on October 25th with AKB48+Me also appearing on store shelves. Samurai Warriors is already on store shelves releasing back on September 13.
You’ll want to make sure you have some space on your memory card or lash out for a larger one as Samurai Warriors is reportedly 1.75GB in size. Another point of interest is that this game will cost you ¥6,090 at retail while the download version will cost ¥5,400. This is actually the the first game that is cheaper as a download version as opposed to the physical copy.
Tecmo Koei have also announced that there will be a downloadable patch on October 16 which will fix some bugs and also add a new easy mode to the game.
