Our favourite cosplay showcasers, Rescue The Princess, are at it again, this time bringing us a peek and the cosplay fun that went down at the TGS ’17. This time they also give us a peek into some of the amazing booths from TGS in particular, the Monster Hunter booth looked amazing with an amazing set up and attendants all decked out in some pretty impressive costumes!
Here are some pics from the Cosplay Collection Night Tokyo Game Show 2017. TGS wrapped up last weekend and while there were many cool games, there was also amazing cosplay on display as is evident from the pics below!

Ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2017, a new game trailer for mystery title, Arika EX (working title), has been dropped. What makes this game really interesting is that the team developing the game is comprised of ex Street Fighter EX coders. Not much info is known apart from, this game started life as an April Fool’s joke which has become a real working project. Expect more from TGS but for now, melt your eyes on the sumptuous trailer below.
Newly announced at Tokyo Game Show 2016, Musou Stars is a new game coming to PS4 and PS Vita from Koei Tecmo. I was covering Tokyo Game Show in 2014 and I was lucky enough to bump into my favourite cosplayer, Vampy Bit Me! What followed next was a very impromptu interview which she was more than happy to do. I found her to be extremely friendly and down to Earth and great, interesting person to interview.
Another awesome game that made an appearance at Tokyo Game Show was Berserk and the Band of the Hawk. This game brings loads of action and delivers bucketloads of Dynasty Warriors hack and slash business. It’s developed by Koei Tecmo and best of all, it’s receiving a Western release in February 2o17.
Another series that I look forward to seeing a new release from is Resident Evil, or Biohazard as it’s known in Japan. Tokyo Game Show ’16 saw Capcom bring Resident Evil 7 with a look at some footage and gameplay via a trailer shown over the event. Looks pretty terrifying, dark and atmospheric, three things the series is known for.
Here’s one game that crept up on me from Team Ninja which looks amazing! How this is the first I’m hearing of it is beyond me but it’s definitely on my radar now! NIOH boasts some lush, ultra realistic visuals in a gorgeous dark world full of fantasy. Hit up the Tokyo Game Show trailer below!
Another game I can’t wait to play is Gravity Rush 2. The first entry in the series on the PS Vita was an amazing experience and left me wanting me more from the rich world of Hekseville. Japan Studio brought some new gameplay to Tokyo Game Show 2016 which looks mindblowingly awesome and introduces a few new characters to the mix.
