If you visit Akihabara, then you have to go to the Tokyo Anime Centre located in the UDX building. It’s just off the main street, Chuo Dori, which is a stone’s throw away from the Akihabara JR station, Electric City exit.
Currently at the TAC, it’s a great time to visit especially if you’re a fan of the lovable ninja in training, Naruto. Currently they’re stocking up on mugs, clear files, key holders, wallets, posters and loads more.
Easily one of the most awaited tv anime sequels in Japan at the moment is Oreimo, which is short for, Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai. To get people ready for it, the Tokyo Anime Centre in the UDX building located in Akihabara is holding an exclusive exhibition which will focus on the second and final season of the light novel adaptation made popular by writer, Tsukasa Fushimi.
There will be loads of Oreimo goodies on display from anime scene panels, posters and loads of other cute stuff featuring the girls from the show. The event will run until May 12 so if you’re in town, run along to it and don’t miss out.

The Tokyo Anime Center in the UDX building, Akihabara is now hosting a new exhibition for one of the most awaited anime titles this Spring.
Valvrave the Liberator is being produced by studio Sunrise, the highly renowned studio that have cranked out hugely popular sci-fi titles such as Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Mobile Suit Gundam andCowboy Bebop. The exhibition will be hosting posters, anime scene panels, illustrations seen in anime magazines and autographs from the anime cast featuring Nana Mizuki (Kriemhild), Yui Horie (Rion Nanami), Haruka Tomatsu (Saki Rukino).

A new Trading Card Game, or TCG for short, was recently launched in Japan called “Precious Memories: Hatsune Miku”. So to commemorate this, the Tokyo Anime Centre located in the UDX Building in Akihabara held an exhibition dedicated to the blue haired Vocaloid and her other Vocaloid friends.
Called the “Hatsune Miku Illustration and Art Exhibition”, the event took place from March 9 through to April 7 where there were illustrations by well known artists, a life sized statue of Hatsune as well as stationary and clothing goods. The TCG, “Precious Memories” was released by Movic and Ensky and includes popular characters from animes, such as Hidamari Sketch, Squid Girl, K-ON!, Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Girls und Panzer andYuruyuri. The TCG was released on March 9th, the first day of the exhibition.
