I’m a pretty big fan of Attack on Titan as a series. I’ve watched the anime and can’t wait for the 2nd season and also read quite a bit of the manga. The live action movies were hit and miss for me but to each their own, right?
Anyways, while we wait for the second season the good folks over at Koei Tecmo have been hard at work on a AoT game for the PS3, PS4 and the PS Vita. The game recently touched down in Japan and with that was the release of the opening cinematic for the PS4 version of the game. Needles to say, it looks amazing and very fast paced full of the very same action that made the series a runawaway success. But don’t take my word for it, roll the video!
And the best news is, the game is headed to the West later this year. Really can’t wait to play some of this on the Vita and PS4.
Sometimes it’s easy to forget that there are other fighting games outside of Streetfighter and Mortal Kombat. The Tekken series has always been a huge favourite of mine so I was besides myself when I came across this new trailer for Tekken 7: Fated Retribution which will be hitting the arcades in Japan this coming Summer.
It’s a long trailer but it shows some pretty cool gameplay and also what gameplay you can expect from this new title. But seriously…how good does this game look?
Playstation Australia have just released this awesome trailer for what you can expect in 2016 and it looks amazing. From Uncharted 4, The Last Guardian, Streetfighter V, Gravity Rush 2 and loads more. Give it a look below and let me know what you’re looking forward to!
So I managed to get my hands on a copy of the latest offering from Square Enix, Final Fantasy Explorers. I’ll be honest, I bought it because everyone was saying hard it was to find in stores and I didn’t want to miss out. Also, unless you pre-ordered, stock was very low across all stores.
So I’ve been playing it for a few hours and I have to say, I’m really liking it! It’s basically a Monster Hunter clone but in the Final Fantasy Universe. I’ve only completed the tutorial missions plus a few of the early missions. So far, the learning/difficulty curve is a lot lower than Monster Hunter which might appeal to gamers who struggled with MonHun (puts hand up).
I can’t wait to see what role classic characters like Cloud, Lightning and co have but it’s enough to keep me playing and temporarily put down Steins;Gate on the Vita. If you’ve missed all the hoopla, here’s the announcement trailer below.
Hmm…did you get that? Chocolate French Fries. So good I had to capitalise each word in that last statement. Welcome to “The Choco Potato Fry” or “McFry Potato Chocolate Sauce” which will bring new levels of delights to your fries. You ever dunked your fries in your sundae or thickshake? This is pretty much the same thing.
Superbowl 50 is just around the corner and with this sporting event comes the traditional slew of TV spots and ads that are broadcast to millions of viewers at half-time. And no, I haven’t decided to follow the NFL (not that there’s anything wrong with it) but one commercial caught my eye. There’s a commercial for the 20th anniversary of Pokemon and it’s a great one!
The ad basically follows the tried and tested theme of believing in yourself and being able to accomplish anything if you put your mind to it. It’s pretty inspirational for a Pokemon commercial and it’s definitely worth checking out below.
